Cylindrical burrs represent the first quantum leap in espresso grinders in decades. They allow for the largest grind area on the market in a footprint similar to a soda can - that means gentler grinding and better-tasting coffee with less bitterness.

Even the hopper has been engineered comprehensively, with an integrated slow-feeding mechanism that prevents "popcorning" without need for a lid. Give the funnel a twist, and an integrated knocker will loosen any retained grounds. On the off rare occasion that you want to clean (or merely admire) the machines internals, the outer burr can be removed completely just by fully rotating the adjustment dial.
